Frequently asked questions

FAQ's

Are you licensed?

Yes. Our license issued by the South Oxfordshire District Council, permits us to care for up to 20 dogs per day.

What’s the access and parking like?

Plenty of facilities on arrival, with three separate and secure entrances, as well as a generous private off road car park.

How many help look after the dogs?

We will always have one person, for every ten dogs, as a minimum. Maybe more at times.

What kind of training does your staff have?

Yes. Our team have recently received Canine First Aid Training.

Can you look after my puppy?

Yes. We can accommodation younger dogs. Please contact us to discuss the details, before placing a booking, to ensure all arrangements are practical for both parties.

How soon can we book a second visit?

For the safety of your dog, we operate a strict one-day trial procedure. On completion of that first day, if both yourself and the team agree it went well, we’d be happy to see your beloved pet again. Please contact us to discuss in more detail.

How are the days structured?

All our staff follow scheduled routines daily. This ensures exercise and rest opportunities for each dog, while allowing us to monitor their welfare and health. Our setup also means the premises are kept clean and well maintained throughout their visit.

Our team follow a daily schedule to ensure all of your dog’s needs are taken care of throughout the day.

This will include enjoying regular walks in one of our extensive settings. With a wide variety of scenery, terrain and scents, they’ll be spoilt for choice between the parkland, woods, sandy menage and the adventure area (suitable for agility and play).

What about the downtime and meal times?

Our accommodation consists of 20 individual and segregated dog rooms, for any size of dog. Each room can be locked, meaning no ‘great escapes’ are possible, even for the keenest digger or chewer.

If you have any home comforts you’d like to leave with your dog, such as a small bed, bowl or toy – you’re welcome to bring them along and we can put them in their own room (meaning they won’t get borrowed by any neighbouring pups).

They also have solid floors, meaning we can keep them clean and easily deal with any spills or accidents.
